Split, Trogir and Klis Private Tour from Dubrovnik
Visit Split, the second largest city in Croatia, situated in the heart of Dalmatia. This private tour will take you to Central Dalmatia, to visit Split, a city best known for rich historical and cultural heritage, wild nightlife and stunning beaches. On our way to Split, we will visit an ancient fortress of Klis to enjoy the view from the mountaintop overlooking Split and Dalmatian islands. Trogir is another destination on this journey, a small historical town filled with ancient palaces, churches, towers and a fortress on a small island. Historic centers of both cities are included in UNESCO's World Heritage Sites. After your driver picks you up at your hotel/accommodation you will enjoy a 3 and a half hours drive in a comfortable, fully A/C vehicle, along Dalmatian coastline. Be sure to bring your passport with you because we will have to cross the border. Upon arrival to Trogir, you will explore this beautiful historical city in an hour walking tour with your driver/guide, visit St. Lawrence cathedral and walk by the seaside promenade. Next destination is Split, only half an hour drive from Trogir. Explore Diocletian's Palace, an ancient ruin of a Roman emperor, one of the best preserved in Europe. Your driver/guide will explain you everything about history of Split in one hour long walking tour where you will visit the most important sightseeing spots. Climb the bell tower of Saint Domnius Cathedral for a breathtaking view of the largest port in Croatia and visit a cathedral that was built as a tomb. During your free time you may want to relax on one of Split's famous sandy beaches. Our last stop is Klis fortress, saved for the end to finish the day with a sunset over Split and Dalmatian archipelago from the mountaintop. In arrangement with your driver, head back to Dubrovnik and enjoy a comfortable drive on the highway. In Dubrovnik, your driver will take you back to your hotel/accommodation.
Things you should know about this activity
Confirmation will be received at the time of booking. Passport name, number, expiry and country is required at time of booking for all participants. A current valid passport is required on the day of travel. You must check and obtain any visa requirements prior to border crossing. All visa requirements are the sole responsibility of the traveler.
